About the speaker: 

John Braithwaite is an Emeritus Distinguished Professor at the Australian National University where he and Valerie Braithwaite founded the School of Regulation and Global Governance. He has won the major international prizes for criminologists, but is actually an interdisciplinary social scientist. His most recent, and he thinks his most important, criminology work is open access, Macrocriminology and Freedom.(2022).  He also works on business regulation and peacebuilding. His publications are mostly open access at  johnbraithwaite.com.
